The Best Store-Bought Snacks For the Beach

the best beach snacks

Beach days are the best! Eating at the beach? Not so much. Seems like no matter what I bring or how careful I am, every bite of food includes a few crunches of sand. But on long beach days, like many of us will enjoy this coming weekend, you gotta eat!

So I’ve put together a list of some of my favorite healthy beach eats. These are snacks you can just buy and bring – but that satisfy more than the average granola bar – especially when you combine a few of them. None of these will involve much sand consumption (phew!), since they can pretty much go from container to mouth without handling.

If you’re headed out of town, all of these also make great travel snacks for the car or plane.

Whatever your plans are for the holiday weekend, I hope you have a delicious, fun and relaxing one!

Nut Butter Squeeze Packs. My favorites are Justin’s Maple Almond Butter and Wild Friends Chocolate Peanut Butter.

Cheese sticks. Organic Valley Stringles and Snack Sticks are my favorite.

Blueberries. Pack a jar full and pour straight into your mouth, bear-style.

Cherry Tomatoes. At peak ripeness during summer, they’re the perfect beach veggie (I know, they’re really a fruit).

Cherries. Just bring a little baggie for discarding the pits.

Quinn Popcorn. The Kale and Sea Salt is incredible!

Kind Bars. Like a delicious trail mix in bar form. My favorite is Almond & Coconut (no chocolate so no melting issues).

Larabar Superfood Bars. Made from real, whole ingredients you can actually see and identify (even the kale leaves).

Annie’s Pea B&J Pockets. A great nut-free option and comes ready-to-eat.

Yogurt Tubes (frozen). Try Siggi’s if you want a low-sugar treat or Stonyfield if you like a sweeter flavor.

Justin’s Almond Butter & Pretzel Snack Packs. Super handy all-in-one-snack.

I have never seen those Justin snack packs. So cool! I need to be on the look out. Snacks are key with a little one and my husband seems to like them too.

They are so good and super handy! I keep them in my purse and glove compartment for hunger “emergencies” 😉
