Even in the colder seasons, I love making smoothies for breakfast or lunch. Lucy has developed an affinity for them too, since she generally eats what I eat (in pureed form, if not already soft). This morning we both enjoyed a blueberry-banana smoothie. It was super thick and icy so I thought she might experience brain freeze (I did), but she ate every bit with no problem. We used this recipe, but subbed frozen blueberries for strawberries.
Once again, I am loving feeding Lucy what I eat myself — it’s fun to see her experience all the tastes, and it sure makes feeding a baby easier!
