In theory, I don’t love eating “on-the-go.” Simply because I feel food should be enjoyed and savored around a table among other people, for maximum taste and enjoyment.
In practice, however, we don’t always have time for sit-down meals and especially sit-down snacks. Lucy and I eat a snack at the park, at school, or in the car almost everyday, so I’m glad there are healthy and convenient options when we need them.
One of my favorite new portable snack items is Stonyfield YoBaby and YoKids yogurt pouches.
When Stonyfield first told me they were making a pouch, I have to admit I was skeptical. I was picturing a shelf-stable pouch of overly-processed yogurt with more additives than the Stonyfield yogurt I know and love.
But the new pouches are far better than what I was imagining. They are literally just Stonyfield’s YoBaby, YoKids, and YoToddler yogurts – in a pouch. That’s it. You still have to refrigerate them and they’re still just regular yogurt. The only difference is the container: no spoon (or mess) required.
As with all yogurts, Lucy loves them.
Now I’m just hoping Stonyfield will come out with a Simply Plain flavor – that’s our favorite š

April 1, 2014 at 7:54 amMy Lucy (I have one too, lol!) loves those yogurt pouches too. It’s so cute when she asks for a “gogurt.” So far I’ve only found them at Meijer and the Targets with an expanded grocery section. I haven’t seen mango! Anything in a pouch is great on the go because no spoon is required.

April 1, 2014 at 11:28 amWe love Stonyfield! Excited to see these because I have been buying the large container of Stonyfield and putting it in our reusable pouches… this would be very helpful for traveling in the car – when I don’t want to worry with keeping the reusable pouch and cleaning it out. My son’s favorite on the go snack is any kind of pouch š Thanks!

April 2, 2014 at 7:44 amMy 2 year old daughter, Sophie, is an eating machine, so I am always grabbing for snacks when we head out the door! Some of her (and my) favorites are apples and cheese sticks. They’re quick and easy to grab and eat! I’m happy Stonyfield is creating these! We buy the tube yogurts (“gogurts”) from Trader Joe’s, but I still don’t think they have ingredients that compare to Stonyfield!

April 2, 2014 at 11:03 amOur favorite on the go snacks are yogurt in a pouch, like Lucy we love the Stony field pouches on the go, dehydrated strawberries or little clementines. Anything easy for little toddler hands that is slightly sweet! Lucky I love these too because they are healthy and don’t create too much of a mess.

June 21, 2015 at 10:38 pmWhile I’m an adult, I love to-go yogurt. I never realized Stoneyfield had a to-go variant — this is actually a really exciting prospect, as Stoneyfield is actually my preferred brand. I literally just ate some mixed with fresh strawberries, blueberries, a bit of honey and some granola.
