How to Enjoy Weekend Cocktails Without Gaining Weight

Many of you have told me that healthy habits are pretty easy to follow during the week, but when the weekend hits everything goes out the window and you’re back where you started come Monday.

Weekend eating tends to be less healthy for a variety of reasons: more eating out, more social eating, and more alcoholic beverages being consumed.  So I’m starting a new video series with some tips to help you enjoy your weekend without overdoing it.

    I love this! I almost ALWAYS start with a glass of wine or cocktail before dinner, which is a couple hundred calories I don’t need. I admit that I also pick the “yummy” cocktail (with juice or fruit)–usually the higher-calorie choice as well. Great, great tip! FYI I did NOT care for that “what does a serving of candy look like?” business. That was alarming. Big time.
